Born in Seattle to an attorney father and banker mother, bill gate was a very smart kid. For his age, he did things that was considered weird for kids to do.  Usually at  the time when most kids had no idea on how to turn on a computer, he was already a computer whiz.

At age 13, Gates studied how to program a teletype Model 33 offered by his school. His talents and creativity startled his teachers. His first creation; the tic-tac-toe game earned him the trust of his teachers and also bought him more to develop his skills in the computer lab.

In that light,

although bill gate was from a rich background; Everyone in his family occupied a blooming career.

Gates was a strong example of a disciplined man. His life and Character traits depicts the fact that you can be intelligent and be a goal-getter. Make use of your intelligence and use it to achieve your dreams.

Bill was a strong believer of hard work pays. Gates is one person who endorsed the assertion that your background has nothing to do with success. If you put your mind into anything you will achieve it and if you are lazy you will fail despite your wealthy background.

In his early days Bill was go-getting, modest and smart. These traits helped him to achieve a lot in the profession he chose. Also, bill was believed by his friends and his teachers as the most intelligent student on campus.

Fortunately for gates, his parents believed in him and they contributed to his success by pushing him to go further and achieve his visions.

When they found out how intelligent he was, they decided to enroll him in a private school which was popular for its intense academic environment. Being introduced to computers was by far the most important decision in his life.

Bill Gates and his peers came together for the love of computer and they formed “Programmers Group” in late 1968.

Together they found new methods on how to apply their computer skill in university of Washington. Later they all departed to pursue a career in programming.

Today, Bill Gates has become a legend and someone who exemplifies an entrepreneur who started from nothing to the biggest company in the world. His success has influenced so many lives and has made lots of profit. Also, The Success Story of Bill Gates has flooded every media, every book etc.

In 1975, while in Havard Bill gates created Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT from his dorm room.  However, although it was his most successful project ever launched, it wasn’t his first. He had also tried out other projects which failed or ended unexpectedly.

While in school, bill gates and his acquaintance Allen formed a new company of their own, Traf-O-Data. They developed a computer to measure traffic flow but it ended when Gates left college. There after he enrolled in Harvard university in 1973, one of the best universities in the country. He signed up for mathematics courses but it wasn’t interesting to him. He was more passionate about computers, so most often he found himself stocked in the computer lab rather than in class.

“When I was thirteen, my school (Lakeside School) installed a teletype machine. From that point on, my friends and I spent most of our free time writing programs and figuring out how to make the computer to do interesting things.”

Within a year, Bill Gates dropped out from Harvard. Then he formed Microsoft.  Microsoft’s vision is “A computer on every desk and Microsoft software on every computer”.

As of 2015, Microsoft ranked in thirty-first place on the Fortune 500 list.

Furthermore, Bill is a visionary person and works very hard to achieve his vision. his belief in high intelligence and hard work has put him where he is today.

Today bill gates is known as a prominent American entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist with a terrific career in a development of software for personal-computers. The co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, one of the most recognized brands in the computer industry; nearly every computer has at least one Microsoft product installed.

Due to the hard work, he has achieved not only the prosperity of the company, but also the title of one of the richest people on Earth.

Gates has been No. 1 for many years on the Bloomberg Billionaires List, but Carlos Slim Helu took No. 1 spot in 2010. And in May 2013, with a fortune of $72 billion Bill Gates became the richest man on the planet again and retook the world’s richest title from Carlos Slim. Bill Gates’ net worth was $79.3 billion as of April 09, 2015. Gates would have a significantly higher net worth if he didn’t give so much money away.

Though he is one of the most successful businessmen of all time, Gates suggests here that his failures are what have taught him the most. Microsoft was not all heaven on earth when it started, it actually suffered from piracy at the very beginning.

But Bill Gates kept fighting, he kept pushing and employing new tactics to build his dream and achieve his goals.

Lastly, Bill Gates is not a greedy person. In fact, he is quite giving person when it comes to computers, internet and any kind of funding. Some years back, he visited Chicago’s schools and museums where he donated a total of $110, 000, a bunch of computers and provided internet connectivity to number of schools. Secondly, Bill Gates donated 38 million dollars for the building of a computer institute at Stanford University.
